Frequently asked questions
Who is this program for?
This course is for anyone who wants to build a strong AI foundation, prep for the Microsoft AI-102 certification (AI Engineer), and would like to have real-world exposure.
How long is the program?
The program goes on for around 12 weeks on average. We want our students to get certified with AI-102 successfully and start implementing knowledge on real-world projects through the AI Internship
How are the classes and internships run?
For the training, you will have an instructor teaching you live through Google Meet. The sessions are very interactive and we try to replicate the classroom environment. The internships will be run remotely by the host companies allowing you to easily manage them alongside your regular job. However, there may be occasions when you need to visit the office in person for orientation sessions.
Do you have a physical campus?
No, we don't have a physical campus. This helps us provide affordable services to students like you. Using technology, we make our online sessions interactive and fun filled. The data coaches are based in Sydney, so they are always happy to catch-up for a cup of coffee.
Do you promise a paid job after the program?
No, we don't guarantee. Australia is a very competitive market, so you will have to fight it out. But we guarantee a micro-internship.
I have a full-time job now, how can I train and do the internship?
You can do our program in parallel with your current commitment. Our training is outside of regular hours. You will be assigned an internship supervisor and can be set-up according to mutual convenience. Most of our internships can be done remotely, so you don't have to physically go to the office.
Is the internship guaranteed after the training?
Yes, the internship is guaranteed. Note that the internship's main aim is for you to get local work experience and do a real-world data project end-to-end. You will work with an Australian tech start-up and will have an internship supervisor assigned to you.
Is the internship a paid or unpaid opportunity?
Most of our internships are unpaid opportunities. The intention of the unpaid work experience/unpaid internship is to give a person experience in a job or industry and provide a meaningful learning experience, training, and skill development.
Is there anything out of pocket other than the fees?
No, there is nothing you need to spend extra. All tools, software and support will be provided as part of the package. We want to make our pricing transparent and simple for our students. We also have instalment options. You will pay slightly higher if you choose this method of payment.
Can I get a refund if I am not happy with the course?
If you don't love us we are more than happy to refund the money in full. No questions asked, seriously. You can try our program for 14 days and if you wish to exit let us know on or before this day.
I don't have any basics, can I still do this program?
Basic knowledge of Python and Data Engineering is recommended. An understanding of data wrangling is also recommended.
How do you run the live classes & program?
Our live sessions are run twice a week on Google Meet. The classes will be interactive and held outside regular working hours. Outside of the live classes, we will get you to do some self-paced reading, assignments, and project work.
Is your course recognised in Australia?
Our training course is not accredited by anybody in Australia, as we operate as a private training company. Formal recognition is not required for AI, in our opinion. It really boils down to what can help you land a job. As such, our focus will be on helping you crack the AI-102 exam and providing you with an internship opportunity (local experience)
Which companies will I do my internship at?
You will most likely intern at an Australian-based tech company/start-up. The internship is fully remote, and in rare cases, you will need to visit their office or tech workshop. Flexible working arrangements can be discussed - e.g. full-time or part-time. We have partnered with 20+ start-ups so far.
How many students per batch for the training ?
We try not to go more than our sweet spot of 20 students per batch. A smaller class allows us to provide increased individual attention, enhanced student engagement, and increased collaboration.
How do you provide such affordable services?
We know that other training centres charge their students tens and thousands of dollars. Fortunately for you, we have managed to bring our price point that is more wallet-friendly by not having a physical campus and running all of this virtually.
